Great for anyone wanting to smudge or remove negative energies from their home, office, a person, objects or even crystals. A tradition passed on for centuries, used for healing and ceremony. It is used for cleansing and purification, and to open people up to a greater connection with the sacred. It is thought to banish negative energy, not only on the physical level, but also emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It has a earthy pine scent and stimulates all the senses.
Each smudge wand can be used to cleanse spaces, houses, rooms or environments of any kinds of subtle, old energies and prepare the space with fresh intent. It is also used to cleanse the aura of a person from stuck old energies to prepare for ceremony or spiritual work. Each pack of 3, comes in a decorative 4 x 6 ziploc with a handy 'Using your sacred smudge,' information card.
* Light the tip over an open flame, while holding it a an angle for a good 20-40sec. Once you have a good light, waft the flame out leaving only the burning hot embers of the pine needles. Carry it around your home/ room/ office starting from the front entrance. Make sure to pass the smoke over the door frames, windows, dark corner and closets where negative energy can linger. Pass the smoke along the boundaries of the floor, all the while holding the thought or intention of releasing the spirits that linger (send them to the light) or sending away the negative energy. This may be done in addition with a smudge fan made of feathers or your own hand. Once you are finished, put the Pinon bundle out in a fire safe bowl. This practice may also be done with loose Pinon Pine Needles. Always be sure to think of safety when using fire. I recommend using this in a well ventilated room *
